The facilities at Flaxby Golf include:

• Par 72 18-hole course up to championship standard
• USGA-specification greens
• 9-hole Temple course
• Golf clubhouse with full bar and catering facilities (temporary clubhouse open)
• Driving range
• Extensive teaching facilities
• Four star hotel with spa and gymnasium (construction planned)

Flaxby Golf & Country Club opened for golf members and visitors on the 1st July 2004; a temporary clubhouse will be provided prior to the opening of the hotel and spa facilities. The hotel development will include a permanent Clubhouse.

Only 2 minutes from the A1/A59 junction (A1 J47), the hotel will become a popular venue for discerning golfers as well as visitors to the region, both for business and leisure.

A full schedule of competitions is run throughout the year.

We are particularly keen to encourage low handicap and junior golfers and to support participation in team competitions both locally and nationally.

The Park Course

This par 72 18-hole course has four par 5s and is nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees. The SSS is 72/73.

From the ladies tees, the Park Course measures 5,595 yards.

The course features USGA-specification greens with Creeping Bent putting surfaces and many interesting contours and level changes. There is fairway irrigation capacity within the computer-controlled irrigation system. There are several lakes on the course and existing woodland areas are supplemented by more than 18,000 newly-planted trees. Bunkers are smoothly contoured and blend harmoniously into the overall design, creating a challenge for every standard of golfer.

The Temple Course

The Temple course(par 70) is 5,960 yards (18 holes) from the medal tees and offers an ideal test of golf. Although shorter than the Park Course, the features are suberb.
